Carl & Angie Henderson are the faces of Divide. As avid fans of traveling and finding delicious breakfasts, they decided to open their own little lodge for people looking to visit their hometown. After a lot of elbow grease and determination they opened their doors to the public in the summer of 1998. Over the years there have been lots of laughs, millions of eggs served up over easy, and plenty of mishaps. Overall, Carl & Angie wouldn’t have it any other way.
1974
Our family’s first visit to the grounds where Divide now stands. We were taken away by the surrounding mountains and nearby rivers.
1983
Our first guests arrived at Divide. On a sunny summer’s day in 1983 we officially opened our doors and still have our same excitement from day one as we do for each new guest.
1997
Part of Divide was lost to wildfire. It was hard to see our beloved lodge go up in flames but we used this time to redesign and update everything.
2019
Our newly designed lodge opened to the public. Now with romantic rooms and luxurious amenities, our lodge was born again.
